Housing Options and homelessness
Your local Housing Options Team is a small team who provide the Council's homelessness service and manage the housing register (also called the waiting list).

The Housing Options team
Our Housing Options Officers want to help and are experienced in assisting people in various situations including:
- People who have lost their accommodation
- People who are worried about losing their home
- People who need to move
If you are already a Council tenant your Housing Officer will provide advice.
How to get in touch
If you believe you are at risk of losing your home, please contact us as soon as possible.

If you are homeless or threatened with homelessness, once we have made an initial assessment of your needs, we will set aside plenty of time dedicated to fully understanding your needs and agreeing a plan of action to help you out. You will then have a named Officer responsible for helping you meet your housing need.
