Pests and animal nuisance
The council has an arrangement with an external provider to deal with pests and animal nuisance.
Updates on our service due to Coronavirus
DialAPest are currently operating a restricted service due to the current coronavirus situation.
If you or a member of your family are currently self-isolating, they will be unable to enter your property and ask that you do not proceed with a booking at this time. If you or a member of your family is in a 'High Risk' group, they ask that you consider carefully if a pest treatment is appropriate at this time.
You can still book treatments for rats, mice and squirrels as long as you are not self-isolating or a member of your family is in a 'High Risk' group.

Information, advice and self help
The Council does not provide a service for removing bee swarms. If you have a problem with bees we suggest that you check local listings for bee keepers who may be able to help.
You can also use an alternative pest control company to get rid of pests. Be sure to use a reputable company which is a member of the British Pest Control Association (BPCA) or the National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA).
