Health and Wellbeing Grant scheme

Our new 2019/20 Health and Wellbeing Grant scheme is now open.

This grant has been made available by Uttlesford Health & Wellbeing Board. The Funding has been provided by Essex County Council Public Health and West Essex CCG.

Who can apply for a health and wellbeing grant?

Grants up to a maximum of £5,000 are available to talented individuals, non-profit-making organisations, local charities, schools and local branches of national organisations.

What you can apply for

Funding can support projects/initiatives that benefit individuals or residents of Uttlesford, e.g. equipment, training, and instructors/coaches.

Projects that cut across a number of priorities and concepts would be particularly welcomed. Furthermore, projects should build on and utilise services that are already working within the associated areas (e.g. services provided by Uttlesford District Council's Environmental Health department, Citizen's Advice, Uttlesford Foodbank, Digital Boomers, handyman services).

You will be asked how your project will work to address these within your application form.
