Uttlesford District Council's annual Landlord Forum will take place on Thursday 10 October, 5.30pm to 7.30pm in the Council Chamber at the London Road offices.

A wide range of service providers will be on hand to share their knowledge and expertise in topics such as energy efficiency, fire safety, legislation, and the impacts of Universal Credit.

Landlords will be able to visit information stands from organisations including Fairhurst Menuhin Solicitors, Affinity Water, Residential Landlord Association, Essex County Fire and Rescue Service, Essex Police, the Department for Work and Pensions, and Airport Lettings, as well as the council's Benefits, Housing Options and Environmental Health teams.

There will also be an opportunity to meet with other landlords and agents to raise and discuss any issues.

The event is free to attend and is open to all landlords within the private sector including those who may have no more than one or two properties in their portfolio.

There is no need to book or to reserve a place - just turn up. Free parking and refreshments will be available.
