Election of a Parish Councillor for the Parish of Debden - 6 May 2021
On Thursday 6 May 2021 the Debden Parish Council by-election will take place along with the Essex County Council Election and the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex election postponed from last May.

About the election
Councillors are elected to the parish council to represent their local community. There is one vacancy for the Parish of Debden.
A formal request was received to fill the vacancy which will be filled by election on Thursday 6 May provided nominations are received in accordance with the election timetable.
The poll will take place on Thursday 6 May 2021 between the hours of 7am and 10pm.

The dates for the distribution of postal packs for electors with existing postal voting arrangements and the deadline to apply for a postal vote are yet to be confirmed. Electors who plan to be away may therefore wish to consider appointing a proxy to vote on your behalf, or to apply for a postal vote to be sent to you at a different address.
